Well, its over. Part of me is relieved, but most of me isnt. I mean, we were fighting a lot. But there is something about her that I just dont wanna lose. Im not too sure what it is, but Im not completely giving up yet. I think anything in this life that is worthwhile is worth fighting for, and Id like to believe what we had was a good thing.

Other then breaking up with my girlfriend, life is pretty much same ol same ol. Its funny though how when you’re going through a breakup, nothing else really seems to matter. I had an uncle that passed away last week, and even though I wasnt close to him, it didnt really hit me at all, and I think it was mainly because of what is going on with me and Laura.

And its the worst time of the year for me, the winter. I cant even begin to tell you how much I hate winter, and the friggn snow. I guess the real reason I hate snow is because I hate driving in it. And its not so much that I dont know how to drive in the snow, its the other yahoos that dont know how that make me nervous. They either go too fast or too slow, either way drives me bonkers, no pun intended.

But anywho, breaking up with my girlfriend is pretty much the only real thing going on in my life. Women are nothing but trouble, at least thats been the case so far in my life. I wish there was a magical guide that could teach you everything you need to know about how women think, and why they do what they do. The ultimate dating guide so to speak. But that will never be written because every women is different, and each one is way too complex.

Well, its been a while since I posted, mainly because Ive been having some relationship issues. I guess it had to start at some point or another. It started with the little stuff, and things seem to spin out of control. We usuallly end up arguing over really stupid stuff. I think Im right, she thinks shes right, and before you know it, were in a screaming match. It really sucks because I dont want to lose her, but at the same time Im having a hard time not arguing with her.

Ive looked online, and asked around for some advice. A friend of mine suggested couples counseling, but I dont know if thats something I really want to do. I mean, yes, I want to save this relationship, but I just dont like the idea of couples counseling. I think Im gonna try a few different bits of advice I found online on how to win her back. I know everything online cant be trusted, but its worth a shot. I will keep everyone updated on how things go, or dont go…

Well, things are looking pretty good for me right now. Ive been going out with my girl now for a couple of months, and thats going well. Its funny how when you have a good relationship with a girl it seems to make everything else just that much better. Ever since me and Laura started dating, work doesnt seem to suck as much and I dont get as mad driving anymore either. And trust me, when it comes to road rage, I have it in spades.

So anyways, as I was saying, having a girlfriend definitely seems to make life that much more chipper. And it makes my mom happy too. You know how mothers can be. Shes hoping for the much more serious, marriage and some grand babies. I dont think me and Laura are quite to that point. We are still in that twitter pated stage, which is fine by me. I hope we can stay in that phase for a while.

Its been a long time since I could say that. After quite some time, I finally have a “girlfriend”. I was starting to get sick and tired of the single life, so I gotta say this is a wonderful day for me. Her name is Laura and she is one hot chick. Almost too hot. Kinda like how brandy was too hot for joe dirt. But I dont want to jinx it, so I will just shut my mouth and go along for the ride.

We actually met at a coffee house. I was doing some work on my laptop when I noticed her checking me out. And it was kinda out of character for me, but I figured, what the heck. So I went over to her, sat down at her table, and just said, “Hi, Im Jake”. Surprisingly enough, that worked and we started into a conversation, and one thing led to another, and before you knew it we had gone on a few dates. It wasnt until today though that we decided to become an exclusive pair. Looks like some of my own dating tips paid off for me

Well, I just plain old had a bad day. Work was awful, or I should say more awful then usual, and my car is having trouble, and the weather really sucks. Its just one of those days. Plus my mom is bugging me about finding a good girl and settling down so she can have some grand kids. That can get pretty old sometimes. I dont really feel like writing a whole lot more. I think Im gonna go squat down in front of my xbox and just chill for a while.

What I want you to do is go out and make friends with girls. “Well duh” I know you’re thinking, but when I say make friends with girls, I mean just that. Find girls that you can be just friends with, enter the dreaded friend zone if you will. Now why on earth would you just  want to be friends with somewhat attractive women? Im glad you asked because Im about to reveal a secret weapon.

First off, when you have it in your mind that you want to be just friends with a women, it makes things a lot easier when it comes to approaching them. The 2 hardest things that you will have to overcome is 1, getting it in your mind that you want to be just friends. That can be extremely difficult on its own, but is essential for the next hard step. Convincing the ladies that you really do want to be just friends. Most women automatically think you are trying to game them, and I cant say that I dont blame them. Us men are pretty notorious for that kinda thing. But it is vital that you make sure that you want to be just friends, and make sure it stays that way.

Youve waited for the why, so here it is. If you can get a handful of decent looking women to be your friends, then you can go “out” with them to pickup on chicks that you really want to date. How does this work? Well, from what I have seen personally, women seem to like men who are surrounded by other women, other good looking women like them. I dont know if its a jealousy thing or if it just helps them feel more comfortable, but this does work like a champ. Plus when its all said and done, and if youve done it right, you could end up with a bunch of really good friends that are girls. and there aint nothing wrong with that!

Ok, so you’re out on the prowl, trying to pickup women. It aint as easy as you think, but it also isnt all that hard either. I hate to say it, but it might take you a little while to get the hang of it. You see, from what I have seen when it comes to flirting with women, you have to have a little bit of confidence. When youre first starting off, you probably wont have a whole lot of it. But this is something that will definitely come with practice and experince.

The next thing I have found that really works like a champ, and Im sure youve probably heard it hundreds of times, is using humor. The reason youve heard it hundreds of times is because it really works when it comes to picking up the ladies. I think just about anyone loves to laugh, especially women. You want to make this a big part of your strategy when it comes to flirting with women. Have you ever seen a completely dorky looking guy with an extremely hot chick? More then likely its because he is really funny…. or really rich

But seriously, I was just out on the town last night, and I was doing pretty good, at least for me, and I have to say its because I was nailing my jokes just right, no pun intended. I was on fire, which not only made me a funny guy, but also helped with my confidence. I tell you what, next time your out and about with your friends, picking up women, try using humor. If you got nothing, try saying a really cheesy joke, but just do it sarcasticly, like you know its a bad joke. That can be funny too.

Well, women to me are nothing but trouble right now. It seems no matter how hard I try, I cant seem to attract one. At least, none that I want to attract. Sure, I have some ugly ones that seem to like me, but what good does that do me? Im not trying to be shallow, but Ive always been a firm believer that you have to be attracted to someone if you want to get serious. I mean, if you end up on taking the vows, could you really wake up to someone you’re not attracted to for the rest of your life? No offense ladies, but no girl has that much personality.

So what is a guy like me supposed to do when it comes to dating women? Ive had girlfriends in the past, and even a somewhat serious relationship that ended in disaster. But as I get older, do I have the right to be picky when it comes to dating women? Or am I just gonna have to settle for the next half decent chick that seems to show some interest in me?

I dont know, what do you guys think? Do you tough it out to wait for the really hot chick? Or do you just settle? That reminds me of a song I heard when I was a bit younger. It talks about how if you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty women your wife. Maybe there is some wisdom to be found in that song. Maybe when it comes to dating women and picking up girls, you should try to go after just an average one?

Well, I think Im just frustrated right now, Im sure once I cool down I’ll get back to my usual self and wont think about it too much. Or is that my usual self? ;D
